While pursuing his York University undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Stephan Kolotylo found a passion for biomechanics, injury prevention and health promotion which inspired him to pursue further education at the Michener Institute for Podiatric Medicine (Chiropody).

All of the Chiropody professors were greatly impressed by his academic standing and clinical skills. As a result, in his final year, he was selected to become a mentor for the first and second year Chiropody students during their clinical placements. This mentorship encompassed teaching the students proper surgical techniques, dermatological conditions, systemic illnesses that can affect the foot, injection techniques, limb salvage skills, infection control, accurate biomechanical/orthotic assessments and suturing techniques. Kolotylo completed the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences Chiropody program in 2013 and graduated with distinction. Shortly after graduating, he gained experience working in numerous and diverse clinical settings, such as private clinics, nursing homes, government funded community health centers, Toronto FC professional soccer club and currently, at the Centretown Community Health Centre in Ottawa.

Currently, Kolotylo is registered in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario with oral pharmaceutical prescribing rights, surgical training, including the treatment of ingrown toe nails and minor soft tissue surgeries. With his extensive training in the prevention and treatment of the foot, he addresses a wide range of conditions including but not limited to: flat feet, warts, fungus, arch pain, ingrown toe nails, nail care, Diabetic foot care, sports injuries, bromodosis (foot odour), biomechanical conditions, foot infections, ulcerations, corns and calluses.
