This lovely (and funny) patient came to visit Kent Chiro-Med Wellness Clinic with a knee pain that left her feeling debilitated for many months. Unable to climb stairs, sit, sleep or move comfortably, she has been struggling finding solution for her pain. Luckily, collaborative efforts between medical doctor, physiotherapist and chiropractic have led to the discovery of her knee pain which is a Baker’s Cyst. Furthermore, the team also discovered the real cause of the severe lymphedema which is an undetected Acromegaly disease. This patient has been seeing great results with chiropractic care and physiotherapy for her knee pain as well as her mid-back issue (which is recent). Acromegaly and lymphedema symptoms are being currently treated with the help of an endocrinology specialist. Patient gave consent to share her story.
